[Thèmes] Cartographie des végétationsMots-clés : symphytosociologie Géosymphyosociologie programme de cartographie nationale des habitats naturels et semi-naturels (CarHab) Résumé : "This special issue dedicated to landscape or dynamic-catenal phytosociology aims to draw up an inventory of this approach which brings together the symphytosociology or phytosociology dynamic and geosymphytosociology or catenal phytosociology. This interest in clarification of basic concepts by simpler and more pragmatic definitions comes in response to an urgent request from the community of phytosociologists, botanists and other actors of the environment in general. These synthetic definitions are intended primarily for field operators responsible for describing vegetation series, typologies and cartography of geoseries, in particular within the framework of the French National Program for the Mapping of Habitats and Vegetation in France (CarHAB) launched in 2011 by the Ministry in charge of Ecology. The four articles in this special issue develop the fundamental aspects and applications of this science that can be considered new within geobotanics. A bibliographical synthesis, which explores the mapping methodologies based on approaches to vegetation series in Europe (Chalumeau & Bioret, 2013), facilitated reflection on the background problems and applications of symphytosociology and geosymphytosociology in the field of cartography." In this objective, both analytical (plot) relevés and synrelevés were carried out. Based on the case study of low mountain habitats in the “chaine des Puys” (Massif central, France), this paper presents i)the methodology developed to carry out vegetation relevés at the landscape scale and ii) the database designed to store and fit synrelevés, as part of the national VegFrance database. This paper presents the structure of the “Paysage” database, the metadata collected together with plants communities in the synrelevés (and geosynrelevés), the method to record the synrelevés and how they are managed for the mapping of series and geoseries. The interpretation of the dataset regarding anthropic pressure on this landscape will be suggested." Titre : Geoseries interpretation and mapping Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Franco Pedrotti, Auteur Année de publication : 2019 Article en page(s) : pp. 55-75 Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : chorologie morphotype série de végétation cartographie de la végétation géosérie Val d'Adige Alpes centrales Résumé : "A geoseries (or geosigmetum) is a catenal unit of vegetation series on an ecologically homogeneous phytotopographical unit of a given chorological sector. It includes the complete altitudinal sequence of zonal, extrazonal and intrazonal vegetation series. A geoseries can be divided into smaller sectors known as "geoseries individuals" on the basis of orography, hypsometry and aspect. Theoretically speaking, the geoseries individuals should be composed of the same number and type of series; however, in practice the number of sigmetamay vary for orographic, hypsometric and geological reasons. A geoseries is complete when it extends from sea level to an altitude of at least 3000 m (in the European mountains) and reduced if truncated at the top when the altitude range is less (lower massifs). Each geoseries is characterised by at least one vegetation series. A geoseries is bordered by geological, geomorphological and geographic limits (watershed line, watercourses, etc.). A geoseries can be mapped in three ways: 1) a single map unit including all the series and indicated with a single colour; 2) a map unit subdivided into series indicated with different colours; 3) a map unit divided into series indicated with different tones of the same colour. This method was used to produce a map (1:150,000) of the geoseries in the Val d'Adige (Central Alps) consisting of 6 climatophilous series and 3 edaphophilous series." [Espèces (in biblio)] Hammarbya paludosa
[Thèmes] Liste rougeMots-clés : Carpates orientales plante menacée Résumé : "The overall range pattern of Hammarbya paludosain Romania is problematic and poorly understood. Here we have compiled an updated distribution for the species in Romania, adding a new locality in the South-Eastern Carpathians, in a transitional bog of the Gutâi Mts (Eastern Carpathians). The species had previously been reported from Romania but we found only a single item of evidence of the plant in a public herbarium(a specimen collected more than a half century ago near Avrig, with no earlier data recorded from that location, and was lodged incorrectly under Liparis loeselii), although it is listed in most important checklists of the Romanian flora as certainly present in Romania. The population discovered, consisting of about 30 individuals of H. paludosa, was spread over an an area of ca. 200 m2and grew in an Oxycocco-Sphagneteacommunity. In Romania the species is highly threatened due to its extreme rarity and therelatively intensive grazing in the area where it occurs."
