"On the basis of phytosociological relevés (table 1), made in the periods 1992-1996 and 2016-2019, the phytosociological position of five Celtica species is described.
The (preliminary) results are:
. Taraxacum gelertii was observed in wet meadows in stream valleys, where it occurs most fre-quently in the Scirpetum sylvatici, a Calthion palustris association.
. Taraxacum bracteatum was found in different vegetation types, namely in the Crepido-Juncetum acutiflori (Junco-Molinion), Ranunculo-Senecionetum aquatici (Calthion) and the Scir-petum sylvatici. It grows also in eutraphent pastures. Taraxacum bracteatum seems to show no preference for a certain community.
. Taraxacum frugale (described formally for the first time in this paper) was observed in diffe-rent vegetation types. It occurs most frequently in communities of the Junco-Molinion, in which it has a clear preference for the Crepido-Juncetum acutiflori.
. Taraxacum hygrophilum, which is very rare nowadays , was observed at two localities in our region. The richest population was found in the orchid-rich subassociation (parnassietosum) of the Cirsio dissecti-Molinietum.
. Taraxacum duplidentifrons, which is not rare, has a great ecological amplitude. Taraxacum duplidentifrons has not been observed in wet hay meadows; it is usually found in relatively nu-trient-rich pastures on somewhat drier soils." (source : auteur) |
